Opaque quartz glass - OM 100

Opaque Quartz helps to save energy in high temperture systems by reducing energy loss through reflection.
OM 100 is an opaque quartz glass with outstanding properties, surpassing the reflectivity of other available opaque fused quartz materials on the market.

The innovative manufacturing process is ideally suited for the production of near-net-shape blanks from which complex finished parts can be machined with minimum expenditure of time and cost. The total cost of ownership of these opaque fused quartz glass parts is further reduced by the excellent surfacefinish and long product lifetime.

The product portfolio comprises a broad variety of opaque quartz glass blanks for the manufacture of flanges, rings, plates or discs in different geometries.

Flanges and rings are available up to an outer diameter of 650 mm in variable widths and heights. Raw and cut opaque quartz glass plates are offered in various shapes and thicknesses. Besides the range of standard parts, Heraeus Quarzglas provides individual blanks developed and produced to precise customer's specification.
